About This Opportunity

Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture is seeking an energetic, self-directed Associate Director of Operations to support the VP of Manufacturing and Enterprise Systems. As a key member of our operations leadership, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant daily operations of the R2S Camden manufacturing site. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a high-performing team in the defense manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a positive organizational culture that emphasizes Safety, Trust, Communication, and Transparency
• Oversee and manage all manufacturing operations, ensuring products are produced on time and to the highest quality standards
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards including ATF, OSHA, DoD, and ADEQ requirements
• Monitor operating expenses and identify cost reduction opportunities associated with manufacturing operations
• Establish performance goals and review performance against defined targets
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and external stakeholders
• Communicate information about new policies and procedures to staff members
• Report operational performance metrics to R2S Leadership Team
• Participate in strategic planning for Facilities Management
• Ensure accurate inventory management and efficient warehousing operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• 10+ years of applicable experience in a manufacturing environment
• Active Secret clearance
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting and briefing executive-level leadership
• 5+ years of experience in a Defense Manufacturing environment
